While the classic building is gone forever, the new and shiny towers of the “Heritage Wing” opened in time for the 2020 games. The classic building is gone forever, but the lobby is still there.
Craftsmen from all over Japan refurbished an recreated the interior with longstanding clients in mind. While it may not feel quite as before we may still have a look when we can.
Sampling the hotel itself will be on the expensive side, though, with rates starting at around ¥80,000.
